René Echevarria is a veteran writer-producer known for his Television collaborations with such industry luminaries as James Cameron (on Dark Angel), Steven Spielberg (Terra Nova) and Guillermo del Toro (Carnival Row).
A versatile showrunner and show creator, he’s written and produced such long-running series as The 4400, Castle, and Medium. The son of Cuban immigrants, Rene got his first break as a writer on Star Trek: The Next Generation, and went on to write over 30 episodes of that franchise.
His most recent project, The Faithful, which tells the story of the Biblical Matriarchs, will premiere on FOX this Spring.
