Odeya Rush was born in Haifa, Israel. She moved to America at the age of 9, and after years of learning English and perfecting her accent, she began pursuing a career in acting. Rush can be seen as the lead in Dangerous Waters with Ray Liotta, Saffron Burrows, and Eric Dane and will next star in the indie horror-thriller Corporate Retreat with Simona Tabasco, Alan Ruck, and Rosanna Arquette. She also recently appeared in Cha Cha Real Smooth, with Cooper Raiff and Dakota Johnson and UMMA produced by Sam Raimi opposite Sandra Oh. Rush starred across Saoirse Ronan in the Oscar nominated Lady Bird directed by Greta Gerwig, as well as played a leading role in Netflix's Dumplin’ alongside Jennifer Aniston and Danielle McDonald, The Giver alongside Jeff Bridges and Meryl Streep, and Sony's Goosebumps with Jack Black. She can also be seen in the Netflix ensemble Let It Snow across Kiernan Shipka, Isabela Moner, and Shameik Moore as well as the independent feature Pink Skies Ahead across Jessica Barden and Rosa Salazar. Additionally, Rush has appeared in an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, as well as starred in The Odd Life of Timothy Green.
In addition to acting, Rush wrote & directed two music videos, and she also wrote, directed, and starred in her own short film, which premiered in the Cannes Short Film Corner.
