Executive Producer
Michael Heyerman is the Executive Vice President, Unscripted Series, for Endemol Shine North America (ESNA). An Emmy Award-nominated producer, Heyerman oversees the entire project lifecycle for the studio’s unscripted slate once a series is greenlit, managing everything from staffing and pre-production through final delivery.
Since joining the studio in 2018, Heyerman has been a cornerstone of ESNA’s production powerhouse, serving as a primary creative and production architect for some of the industry’s most complex franchises. He notably shepherded the wildly successful LEGO Masters (FOX) from its initial concept through six successful seasons and counting. His extensive list of executive producer credits also includes Deal or No Deal Island (NBC), MasterChef (FOX), Fear Factor: House of Fear (FOX), Foodtastic (Disney+), and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (ABC/HGTV).
Beyond his production oversight, Heyerman serves as the studio’s primary liaison and creative shepherd for A-list talent. He has managed the unique demands of unscripted production for high-profile hosts including Gordon Ramsay, Will Arnett, Nick Cannon, Keke Palmer, and Johnny Knoxville, ensuring a world-class environment for talent and networks alike.
Prior to his time at ESNA, Heyerman was a member of NBC’s development “Brain Trust” team at Universal Television, where he guided original unscripted projects to air. A seasoned industry veteran, he previously served as co-executive producer on The F Word and To Tell the Truth, and as senior producer on America’s Got Talent. Heyerman’s other credits include Toddlers and Tiaras, Millionaire Matchmaker, American Inventor, and Top Design.
