Kevin Michael “KMR” Richardson is a classically trained actor, voice actor and singer. Richardson has been entertaining everyone around him since a young age. KMR started off by telling incredible stories at his parent’s dinner table while voicing each character in a unique style.
Born in the Bronx and raised in Mount Vernon, KMR was one of only eight high school students in the United States chosen to participate in the National Foundation of the Arts program. From there he received a scholarship to Syracuse University where he was regularly asked by his peers, including Aaron Sorkin, to work with them.
He received critical acclaim for his recurring role on ER playing Patrick, a special needs patient. He also starred in the cult comedy classic Homeboys in Outer Space, Knights of Prosperity alongside Sofia Vergara and Donal Logue, The Cleaner, Like Family and such features as BASEketball, Fatal Instinct and La Mission.
As a voice actor he has been nominated for multiple Daytime Emmy’s and an Annie Award. You may recognize his voice as the Joker in the new The Batman, Shredder in the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Cleveland Jr. in The Cleveland Show, Principle Lewis in American Dad, Bulkhead in Transformers Prime, Panthro in Thundercats, Gantu in Lilo & Stitch, Uncle Osweidge in Dave the Barbarian, Roadblock in GI Joe, Maurice in Penguins of Madagascar, Mr. Gus in Uncle Grandpa, Willem Viceroy III in Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja, Happy in Disney’s new animated show The 7D and many more wonderful characters.
KMR has also started to receive attention for his singing. He has sung with some of our generation’s most renowned singers and groups such as Kanye West, the cast of Glee, Harry Connick Jr., Seth MacFarlane, Frank Sinatra Jr., Earth Wind and Fire, Paul Shaffer and sometimes even a little karaoke with Kenny G.
