Laurel Fitzgerald has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Consumer Research, Fox Broadcasting Company (FOX). In this role, she will oversee all program research functions for the network. The scope of her new position includes executing qualitative and quantitative testing of network content and marketing materials, soliciting viewer feedback via surveys and the network’s proprietary forum, and identifying viewer preferences and behavioral trends that inform the choices and strategic decisions of FOX management and its creative partners. Fitzgerald will continue to report to Will Somers, Executive Vice President, Head of Research, FOX.

Since 2006, Fitzgerald was Vice President of Program and Market Research at FOX, conducting market research for the network’s pilots and current programs, and disseminating FOX program audience findings.

Fitzgerald has worked at FOX for 18 years, joining the network in 2000 as Director of Program and Market Research. Prior to joining FOX, she worked both at CBS and Warner Bros. Television. She attended California State University Fullerton.
