Robert Horry, a legendary figure in the world of basketball, is a seven-time NBA champion known for his clutch performances and remarkable versatility.

 

Horry attended the University of Alabama, where he honed his basketball skills which led to a career in the NBA. In 1992 he was a lottery pick chosen 11th by the Houston Rockets. In 1994, it was with the Rockets where he played a key role in helping the franchise win their first championship in team history. The following year in 1995, he and the Rockets won the championship again making him a back-to-back champion in his 3rd year in the league.

 

Over the course of his illustrious career Horry also played for the Los Angeles Lakers and the San Antonio Spurs. Horry’s clutch shooting and defensive prowess were instrumental in winning three more NBA championships with the Lakers in 2000, 2001 and 2002, and two with the Spurs in 2005 and 2007. His ability to thrive under pressure earned him the nickname “Big Shot Bob.” 

 

Off the court, Horry is a devoted family man. He is married and has children, cherishing the role of being a husband and father. Following his retirement from professional basketball in 2009, Horry has remained involved in the world of basketball.
