Shyam Balsé has served as Senior Vice President, Unscripted Original Series, Endemol Shine North America, since January 2021, having previously been named Vice President, Unscripted Original Series in January 2020, after serving as co-executive producer on FOX’s LEGO MASTERS and working closely with the Endemol Shine team to launch the successful series. In addition to MASTERCHEF, he serves as executive producer on MASTERCHEF JUNIOR and “Wipeout.”

A veteran producer known for working on high-profile primetime shows, Balsé has worked with the top broadcast and cable networks on unscripted shows, featuring some of the biggest celebrities in the industry, including Dwayne Johnson, Gordon Ramsay, Will Arnett, John Cena, Nicole Byer, Neil Patrick Harris, Drew Barrymore and Ellen DeGeneres. He also has worked on Hollywood blockbuster films, including Robert Zemeckis’ “A Christmas Carol,” and he’s produced and written several award-winning independent films.

Balsé received his M.F.A. from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts’ film and television production program.
