Jeff Thacker is recognized as one of the foremost and elite entertainment producers of British Television. His background as a dancer, choreographer and producer has enabled him to work with the biggest names in the music and entertainment industry.

Throughout his career, his own programs have won numerous awards, including a BAFTA, an Emmy Award, the prestigious Bronze Rose, two Television Press Awards and a Mention Speciale at the television festival in Montreux, The New York Film and Television Award, as well as two Emmy nominations and three BAFTA nominations. He’s won five consecutive Record of the Year Awards, two National Music Awards for contribution to music, plus many awards for his TV shows with major international artists, including Sir Elton John, Jennifer Lopez, Cher, Britney Spears, Diana Ross, Enrique Iglesias, Sting, Celine Dion and the late Pavarotti.

Thacker also earned five Emmy Award nominations for SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, on which he started working in 2005, when Nigel Lythgoe and Simon Fuller invited him to be senior producer. Thacker was one of the three original judges on Season One, and is now executive producer of the show, now seen in more than 70 countries worldwide. He also produced and directed the hugely successful “So You Think You Can Dance Tour” in the U.S., and produced the best-selling fitness DVD with the show’s cast.

Thacker’s position has enabled him to donate his time to work with many of the world’s biggest charity organizations. He also had the great honor of being the associate producer on eight Royal Variety Performances for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and was sole producer of two of the most-watched Royal shows in 2001 and 2003.

Thacker is currently executive producer and showrunner on the new network dance show “Come Dance With Me.”
