Verizon and Volkswagen Sign On to Sponsor FOX Sports coverage of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™

Verizon to Present Halftime Shows; Volkswagen to Present Post-Game Shows
FOX Sports’ Inaugural FIFA Men’s World Cup™ Kicks Off on June 14

LOS ANGELES – Fox Networks Group (FNG) today announced Verizon and Volkswagen as sponsors for FOX Sports’ broadcast of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™. As part of multi-platform deals, Verizon will sponsor the halftime shows, one for each of the 64 matches airing across FOX Sports, and Volkswagen will sponsor the post-game shows, which will air after every match.

More than a dozen advertisers have already boarded FOX Sports record-breaking 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ coverage. Additionally, FOX Sports is in advanced discussions with FIFA partners including adidas and Coca-Cola.

For its first FIFA Men’s World Cup™ presentation, FOX Sports will offer unprecedented and exclusive English-language coverage of the world’s biggest sporting event live from Russia. The month-long production, from June 14 – July 15, 2018, will feature a top-notch broadcast team of play-by-play announcers, game analysts and studio commentators including US Soccer Hall of Famer Alexi Lalas and U.S. Men’s National Team legend Landon Donovan.
